Children`s Faith Formation for Grades 1-6
A special Faith Formation event for the whole family takes place here on Wednesday evening, October 28, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Do you know how to become a saint? Do you know how our Church formally recognizes a person as a saint? Why wasn't Mary, the Mother of Jesus, ever "canonized" as a saint (though we still call her Saint Mary!)? Learn this and much more at this special event in anticipation of All Saints Day.
Do you have a child entering Kindergarten or First Grade in September? Please call our parish office (354-3019) to update your family record. We will be sending out registration material soon if we have your current family information.
Sacramental Preparation
Sacramental preparation for children baptized as infants begins in the first grade. Reconciliation is celebrated during Lent of the second grade year. Confirmation and First Holy Communion are celebrated in the Easter season of the third grade year. Please call for more details.
Adult Catechesis regarding the Sacrament of Reconciliation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 at 6:15 PM at St. Anne Parish Hall. If your child is preparing for first Reconciliation, then this presentation is for you! Everyone is welcome...
There is plenty of food, fun, & fellowship open to all youth. We would love to see you, YOU are the reason we are here and this is YOUR place to come and learn, worship and learn about our faith. You are always in our prayers. Bring a freind and come join us ... you will be most welcome!
Junior High Youth Group
Junior High youth ministry meets Wednesday evening at 5:30 in our parish youth room. All students in Junior High School are welcome to attend. Keep your eyes open for starting dates when school restarts. Contact Penny Pelleran with questions.
Senior High Youth Group
Meets at St. Bernard Youth Center under the church from 6-8 P.M on Wednesday evening. All students in high school are welcome to attend. Enter from the parking lot. Keep your eyes open for start dates as school restarts.
All Saints Catholic School
Our parish supports our consolidated Catholic elementary school located at St. Mary Parish on Second Avenue. For complete information, contact the principal, Mrs. Mary Lightner, at 354-4911. All Saints School offers pre-school programs for children ages 3-4, all-day Kindergarten for children who attain the age of 5 by December 1 of each year, and the elementary school program for children in grades 1-6.
